  • Staff Gifts and Benefits PolicyThe purpose of this policy is to outline the ethical principles that govern the giving and receiving of a gift or benefit by a QUT staff member and clarify the various roles and responsibilities for approving and administering a gift or benefit.
  • Student Academic Concessions PolicyThis policy provides a range of supports for specific circumstances and a range of academic concessions in acknowledgement that special circumstances may affect a student’s ability to complete an assessment task or may affect their performance in an assessment task.
  • Student Critical Incident Management PolicyThe purpose of this policy is to articulate QUT’s approach in responding to student critical incidents, and to ensure the management of incidents: minimises any threat to the health and safety of an individual or the public; is reported to relevant officers within QUT, sponsors, and government agencies; is communicated to the family where appropriate; and provides trauma informed support to assist affected students.

  • Superannuation PolicyQUT provides superannuation coverage for staff through UniSuper - legislative requirements and conditions of the scheme are set out in this policy.
  • Support for Students PolicyThis policy sets out the framework of services by which QUT supports its students to progress and successfully complete their studies. It also details the processes by which the University identifies and assists students at risk of academic failure.
  • Sustainability PolicyQUT is committed to reducing its impact on the environment and contributing to meeting the challenges that will lead to a more sustainable world and this policy expresses the principles and practices to provide a framework.
