  • Re-engagement Following Redundancy or Early Retirement PolicyA staff member who is made redundant or accepts an early retirement scheme (ERS) benefit is not eligible for re-employment for a period of 12 months from the date of separation.
  • Recognition of Prior Learning PolicyThis policy articulates QUT’s position on the recognition of prior learning (RPL) and provides a framework for assessing prior learning for advanced standing and academic entry to courses.
  • Reconciliation StatementThe QUT Reconciliation Statement commits QUT to sustainable reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australian people.
  • Records Governance PolicyQUT is committed to the creation and maintenance of adequate records of its functions and activities and predominantly utilises electronic means.
  • Recreation Leave PolicyStaff members who are entitled to four weeks recreation leave after 12 months service, are encouraged to access their accrued recreation leave to promote a healthier workplace.
  • Recruitment and Advertising PolicyThe recruitment of the highest quality staff is achieved through the implementation of fair and robust recruitment and selection processes.
  • Redeployment PolicyThe University will seek to avoid job losses through measures such as redeployment, voluntary flexible working arrangements and job swap arrangements.
  • Remuneration for Senior Staff PolicyThe senior staff remuneration policy applies to all positions classified at levels Senior Staff Group A-E (SSGA_SSGE).
  • Research Governance FrameworkThe QUT Research governance framework has ten fundamental principles of compliance, research quality and integrity, recognition, engagement and collaboration, ethical acceptability, risk management, financial management, health, safety and environmental protection, information management and monitoring.
  • Research Structures PolicyThis policy provides principles for the development, establishment, management and closure of research structures.
  • Resolution Procedures for Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault and Discrimination Related ComplaintsThese procedures are designed for the resolution of grievances associated with unfair and/or unlawful discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment and sexual assault.
  • Review of Academic Rulings PolicyThis policy sets out the principles for students to seek a review of an academic ruling and the timeframes in which QUT will respond.
  • Review of Final Unit Grades PolicyStudents who are dissatisfied with the final grade received for a unit may initiate an informal or formal process for a review of the grade.
  • Revocation of an Award PolicyQUT is responsible for certifying that the academic awards it has conferred on a graduate are authentic and verified and therefore it may be necessary to revoke an award to ensure that community confidence is maintained.
  • Risk Management PolicyQUT is committed to establishing an organisational philosophy and culture that ensures effective business risk management.
