Summary of Changes from Previous Version

Standard 2.3.5 of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021 requires QUT to have a "critical-incident policy together with readily accessible procedures that cover the immediate actions to be taken in the event of a critical incident and any follow-up required”. While QUT has a range of existing policies and procedures to respond to incidents, the Student Critical Incident Management Policy will fulfil QUT’s compliance obligations under the Framework and enhance the existing policy provisions for managing critical incidents involving students.
